Apartment Reviews for The Villas At Emerald Dunes (Luxury Condos) - West Palm Beach

I have been here for 3 1/2 years,and trust me... I am very picky about where I live. I have lived in "apartments" before, and the management and residents here are much different from your average "rental" crowd! There is never blaring music, loud parties, or undesirable guests. They do not accept section 8. It is very safe for a single female. The amenities are great - 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, 2 gyms, new tennis courts, etc. It is true that they only have one cable tv and internet provider, but I personally haven't had any trouble with them. I know for a fact that Comcast charges more for HD, and my internet is $10 less than AT&T. Also, basic cable is free if you don't need HD or extra channels. They recently hired a new management company that has made many improvements on the grounds and maintained the units better than when maintenance was outsourced. My tile floor cracked, so they put brand new tile in the entire unit. The person who complained about no hot water and broken appliances should contact maintenance! My neighbors and I agree that this place is great for the money. Anything in downtown, Gardens, Wellington, or Boca will cost you much more. Even the old dumpy places claiming to be "remodled" are going for the same as I pay. BTW, there is always a rent discount from what is listed online. My only complaint would be the lack of guest parking. Also, some units could use new carpeting, as they are about 6 years old. But really, that's pretty minor!
