Review for Merritt At Satellite Place Apartments

I am a former resident of Merritt, and feel that potential renters should hear my story before making their final decision.

My roommate and I moved in to the property in 2007 when the property was under the previous management. The complex was well kept, neighbors were friendly and office staff was prompt to action. Around the same time that we renewed our lease, a new property manager took over.

In the second and final year of our lease the complex became dirty, neighbors sold drugs out of their garages and the staff let serious problems go to the wayside.

Two years of no complaints, no late rent, and overall being an excellent tenant, we were slapped with several charges and harassing collections calls for bogus water damage that had occurred AFTER we had left the building and turned in our keys.

Long story short, under the management of Rose Walker, the complex has lost all of its great aspects and now sits along Satellite as a haven for unsafe practices.

My advice… don’t sign the lease.
