I lived in this complex for about 18 month, i had no issues as far as the safety is concern.
when we moved in the apt was in marginal shape, carpet wasnt brand new but used. we saw hairs in the bath tub when we moved in and we ignored it as it was minor.
At the pre move out inspection they gave me a list of $1200 worth of damages, asking to change oven drip pans, return the capret as it was given 18 months ago or they will change the capret and will charge me, new paint charges, window cleaning, odour removal service charge etc.
after pre move out inspection, i professionally cleaned the carpet paid $100, painted the entire apartment, took care of all the minor and tiniest scratches and left every thing clean.
At the final inspection they still think carpet is not clean enough and will be changed entirely, cleaning will be done again professionally. they dont expect any wear and tear when you leave. they want a perfect apartment so that new resident can move in next day. also, they saw a small yellow stain the microwave which i tried hard to remove it but didnt succeed, they wanted to replace the perectly running microwave with the new one.
we were already in a lot of stressed due to moving with 2 young kids and they didnt cooperate at all, we spent day and half to clean the apartment and address all the issues and they are still planning to charge me. I am very disappointed with the apartment community.
Also, they gave me a final water bill and few extra days of month to month day rent bill with no details, i just got a number figure with no breakdown of what is charge for what service, i requested twice and they keep claiming its all legitimate and we wont charge you wrong. Next day i sit down with them and did the recalculation again and they were over charging $76 on water bill. assistant manager ----- is very rude and offensive and doesnt seems to listen and kept talking.
Apartment gate is broken on average twice a month. Dog's potty is every where on the grass. windows are not good enough and sealed and your electric bill is always high.
Please beware of moving in this apartment complex. management is terrible
I can write about these people all day if i have time, they are just horribel horribel horrible, if you want to make your life harder then go and rent this place. disgusting place!
