After not fixing my clogged shower for 2 weeks, regardless of the multiple calls I made to the office. I called to yell at the staff who said they were aware of my shower needing to be fixed; however, they had no excuse for it not being fixed. Immediately after it was fixed, by the office, I heard the service woman and the woman who works as a full time employee in the office making fun of my roommate and I. After confronting the main office staff of the incident, instead of apologizing, this woman charged at me from 10 feet away and screamed in my face saying "do you know who I am". Obviously I do know who she is - somebody who is supposed to be working for ME! I was seriously threatened and afraid she was going to attack me. After calling the regional office, a man said that Equity apartments apoligizes as a whole, but they cannont make this woman apologize to me directly or in a letter. He said I probably got upset just like I was on the phone when I was crying - news flash: I have a right to be upset, I live here, I couldn't use my shower for 2 weeks, I was made fun of and called horrible names by the unprofesional office staff, and I get no apology. Now I feel completely uncomfortable going to the office because the last time I was there I was yelled at and belittled by someone on the staff. They did not fire her and did not attempt to reconcile any problems with me!
I never had these problems at Post!
In terms of the crime. I lived in Post apartments less then a mile away for a year, there was a total of 2 harmless incidents. After living here for a month, there were two major ones. It is not the city of Atlanta, it is the apartment.
