Arbor Hills is an okay place to live that's near Emory. The apartment complex has a swimming pool, basketball court, tennis court, volleyball area, a small gym area, two racketball courts, a car wash facility, and 2 laundry areas. The leasing office is very attentive when you are a new tenant or are looking at apartments, but they are horrible at returning phone calls for current tenants. Many of the apartments here have an insect problem, ranging from roaches to ants. The rent is expensive for the amount of floor space you get. The place is quiet in the summer, when the undergrads leave, but gets loud when they return. The walls are paper-thin. I've heard whole conversations and TV shows through my wall. I can also hear my neighbor's alarm clock go off in the morning. People often leave trash in the parking areas and near their doors, but some buildings in this complex are better than others when it comes to cleanliness. Every couple of months we receive a letter telling us that there have been several car break-ins. This apartment complex is not gated.
