While apartment hunting in Jan 2004, I decided to go ahead and apply for an apartment in order to lock in this great rate they had. They assured me that the deposit was refundable and wouldnt even be deposited in their bank until or in the case that I chose to move there. I ended up deciding to move somewhere else, and when I asked for my deposit back only 2 DAYS LATER they said that they had assumed I would move there and deposited it. I had to fight hell & high water over 4 months for the return of a $100 deposit that I put down while only shopping for the best deal. It took the Better Business Bureau to mediate for me. I found their business practices very shady to say the least. Just know that these people hide cards up their sleeves when even considering a place here.
