I have lived in this apartment complex for about 4 years, not because they are the best but because i havn't had time or energy to move due to working and going to school full time. We have been put thru so many trying things when dealing with this complex. to start we were not told this was a flood area so we didn't have flood insurance when the huge flood came in flooding some of the units in comples with over 6 feet of water (only came in about a foot in our unit) we couldnt get in to get our things out after the flood due to they already had crews ripping our walls out and throwing wet sewer water clothes and other items on my bed which would have been ok if not for their poor judgment. you would have thought that we would have had our stay in the hotel paid since they could not provide us a apartment for the time being but they did not. we ask if we could have our rent prorated since we were not able to live in apt for entire month and we were told no. they finally found a upstairs unit for us to move the few things that didn't ge destroyed in the flood where we had to live for about 8 MONTHS for them to fix our apartment and they we had the pleasure of having to sign another lease for 200 dollars more because they said that they put upgrades in the apt. this amont NUMEROUS other maintnance and NOISE complaints went ignored by management over the course of the 4 years which not matter what we ALWAYS paid our rent on time. never had late pmt in 4 years until recently and THE MANAGEMENT OF COMPLEX IS TRYING TO THROW THE BOOK AT US. We have actually lived in complex for several years longer than the most tentured employee there and we got NO sence of loyalty from the office at all. We have been treated like we are worthless tenants to them and we are going to move as SOON as this lease is up.
