Review Title:   The Rents Cheap...You Get What You Pay For.
Reviewer:   Anonymous
Review Date:   2/4/2006

We have lived here for six months and have experienced leaks that soaked the floor, water shortages(water is currently not functioning_bill was paid on time), terrible plumbing(buy a good plunger and make drano part of your monthly budget), a roach and cricket infestation, When we moved in...every eye on the stove but one was broken (it took 2 months to get maintenance to repair), ventalation fan in bathroom non-operational for all but 1 month of stay(it was reported to maintenance the first month). expect a minimum of 2 month delay on any maintenance request, especially if it is small. The deposits here are fees, they will tell you up front that they are non-refundable. noise is definately an issue, the walls are like paper and the ceilings are worse. Customer service in our experience has been rude. These people feed on lower income families and treat them with little respect. This places only redeeming value is that it is cheap. it is hard to beat the rent. but bear in mind,,,,you get what you pay for...and in this case a little less. Everything about it is cheap, including the cesspool they call a lake and the cluttered unfurnished lakehouse beside it. There are definatley better places to try in the area that will treat you better, offer better facilities, better maintenance, at a better location and a similar price. try the Gables,....there are a couple in this area. I have friends in a comprable apartment at the gables that pay about $20 more a month, but you would think they paid at least $100 more a month. shop around. this is a bad deal.
