Be careful which unit you choose. Overall, this is a wonderfully developed condo community with friendly neighbors (some exceptions). If you are sensitive to noise (boom cars, outdoor concerts, yelling vagrants) DO NOT LIVE HERE. I owned, and reluctantly sold at a loss, a beautiful poolside unit in this terrifically landscaped development. Unfortunately I was sandwiched between a hostile neighbor who either gave the silent treatment or swore profanities at me (and at her boyfriend -- I heard through the walls) and a 24-hour (read 24-Hour) carwash "staffed" by a homeless guy and his friends who party afternoon evening and night, shouting, tire screeching, thunderous boomcars, audible rap and gangsta concerts from across the street or blocks away (on Hosea Williams). I literally did not sleep regularly the 4 years I lived there. Once, a couple well known rappers recorded a video on a Wed - Thurs overnight with bright concert lights and amplified speakers from across the street. The whole community heard it but no action was taken. The police will or cannot control the surrounding environment. The board at the time was proactive and responsive, but the surrouonding area is ghetto. Also if you live poolside you'll be monitoring unattended kids climbing in over the fence; and beware of dog owners who don't mind leaving dog crap in your walkway, yard area. But, choose your unit carefully and you can be very happy here.
