I must say that " Change is Good!" I have lived here for over three years, and I have seen office staff come and go. But the ladies that have been here for the past 8 or 9 months have gone beyond measure to prove to me that it is a "New Day" is the land that once was. I am a working professional, who is now represented by over half of the community. I no longer see drinking in the public gazebo, people just hanging out in the breezeway, or children playing in the street.
The new office staff go out of their way for me to know their names (Betty, Temple, Litreater, Sonya, Bobbette, Miss Billie, and Sharon- the latest addition). Promises are most often never kept when dealing with the rent office. But this staff has stepped up to the plate. We now have monthly Town Hall meetings to keep me updated...we all so had the "Movie in the Park" experience ( I felt like I lived in Buckhead)..Summer Programs for the children, and so much more. Miss Billie even offered First Time Home Owner's and Credit Repair class to help the residents become homeowners (something that I've never seen living in apartment communities all my life.) They are even building homes for the residents to buy. I never thought that I could own my own home, but no that dream seems very obtainable by living here.
To make a long story short, I always hear the bad side of people's opinions....I thought it was about time something positive gets shared. I like seeing Litreater riding the property and I even saw her pick up trash. I like the family oriented activities we are now having. I like being able to go into the office and Temple or Betty is willing to help me with any concern I may have. I love the fact that new construction is continously going on...(I never seen growth like this is an apartment community). The office staff is usually there even at night when I get home. Bobbette even make appointments to renew your lease after office hours for your convienence..... (I know for a fact that this has NEVER happened with the previous staff). These are just a few reasons why " Change is Good!!!!"
