I am currently renting here and cannot wait until my lease is up so I can get out. There are bugs everywhere. I keep my apartment very clean as an attempt to not attract unwanted pests but that doesn't help. I have seen every different variety of insects there are. Most are HUGE cockroaches. Most maintenance requests are not answered timely, they usually take 3 or more days. I have had to fix several things aound my apartment myself.The controlled access gates do not work like they are supposed to, once you go through the gate and it is closing, it will open right back up if someone pulls up before the gate closes. There are a few pluses to staying at the Veranda. The leasing office staff is very friendly and know everyone's name. It is a bit small but they have a nice pool with a waterfall. They have made several upgrades like paving the parking lots, fixing breezeway doors, and built a playground. The apartments are a nice size. But in my opinion, the cons outweigh the pros. The bug situation totally negates the value of the apartment complex. Overall, I do not recommend this place at all.
