Apartment Review for Kenco Lavista Apartments

Check my blog, http://filthykencoapartment.blogspot.com/ to see pitcutre. On Nov. 10, 2009 I reported that dirty water with food waste was coming out of the double sink, flooding both. Next day, the maintenance person claimed to have solved the problem. Same day, dirty water flooded the sinks. Immediately, I reported this to the resident manager. I mentioned that it was not just a clogged sink, but most probably, pipelines were carrying garbage from apartments above (I live on the first floor). Resident manager promised to look into this. Problem remained. Resident manager did not work on Friday. On Saturday, my neighbor upstairs used his sink to do laundry. It flooded the kitchen filling drawers with and floors with food waste and dirty water from washing machine. I called the emergency number. A person showed up almost two hours later. After twenty minutes the diagnostic was that only the plumber could fix the problem. He would show up next morning, on Sunday, by 10am. Nothing happened. On Monday, I went to talk to the resident manager at 9:30am. Resident manager promised to take care of things. By noon, nothing had been done. Plumber finally showed up around 6pm. On Wednesday, I argued with resident manager and resident manager's boss about ending the lease contract. They claimed that they had been doing their jobs and I had the option to leave the apartment with 60 days notice and paying an extra month of rent. For them, there was no negligence on their part. For me, the kitchen is like your toothbrush somebody has thrown to the toilet, recovered it, and "cleaned" it and, then this person is telling, sure, you can use it.
