Apartment Review for Uptown Buckhead

Steer clear of this apartment complex unless you don't mind having your door forced in and your belongings stolen. I purposely moved into a building near the front of the complex because I felt I would be safer than if I lived in the back, wooded areas of the complex. I was proved wrong this week when an apartment in the building next to mine was broken into in the middle of the day! This is the second break in at this complex in a month and I am sure if I do a little digging, I will learn of more that have happened since I moved there. The worst part is that management has not alerted any of the other residents about the crimes happening right on our property. As a resident, I feel I have the right to know each and every time something like this happens so I can take the appropriate steps to ensure my safety at all times within my own home. I no longer feel safe living there and I definitely do not trust management at all since they seem to be witholding information that pertains to my safety and the safety of my neighbors.

I really did not have an opinion either way about this property in the almost year I have lived there but now I am quite concerned for my safety and definitely will not renew my lease for another year.

I feel like people should know about the crime in this area, especially within this particular apartment complex before choosing to rent here. Management won't even inform the current residents living there and since they don't seem to be doing anything to ensure the safety of their residents, they definitely do not care about someone new who comes to inquire about a rental.
