Apartment Review for Uptown Buckhead

Got suckered in by the front desk office. Before moving in, I had been warned about the water bill issue and even asked specifically about it. I got thie whole song and dance routine about the "formula" they use and was told maybe 40.00/50.00 per month. I can tell you no water bill has been under 69.00 and thats for a one bedroom/one bathroom unit. The power bill has been ridicously high given the sq footage. My unit had so many patch fixes on the ceiling due to leaks, looks horrible. The water heater is a joke. You might get a hot shower for 10 min if your lucky. Walls are paper thin and I could hear the guy upstairs urinating in his bathroom. The stairs/halls need pressure washing desperately!!! The parking is horrible!!! The Ivy next door is so packed on the weekends and they use the complex's parking. Mgmt seems to care less about this problem. I was tired of parking 3 bldgs away sometimes. As for crime, was very lucky. Nothing really happened but I'm so glad to be out of that nightmare. Plus turning right out of the complex is borderline impossible. Don't fall for the car salesman mentality sales/rent pitch. Spend your money elswhere!!!
