Review for Alexander Place Apartments

We lived in this complex for two years while stationed in Augusta with the military. The apartment we rented was really large for the price we paid, and included an attic and a nice, rather private patio large enough for a hammock. We did have some noisy neighbors, but actual police were dispatched when we called the number provided by the complex, and that worked well (after we had personally gone over and asked them to be quiet a few times). The landscaping is quite nice, and the messes left by inconsiderate people who couldn't be bothered to put their trash in the dumpsters was quickly cleaned up by the staff (poor guys!) I was usually able to park right in front of my door. We had brand new carpet when we moved in. I don't know what the other person who reviewed the complex here experienced, but we were always treated well by the office staff, and never had any problems at all. I thought the rent and the deposit were quite cheap, but then, we've lived in much more expensive areas, and most apartments in Augusta are quite cheap. I think the pet deposit was something like $300 for two cats, and there was no monthly pet rent. We received all of our deposits back, minus a $50 fee for carpet cleaning. (We were given the option of cleaning them ourselves or having them do it - $50 seemed like a good deal for no trouble.) We also had no trouble with getting out of our lease when our military service was over, which was a great relief. Highly recommended.
