Review for Woodcrest Apartments

I moved in December 12, 2008 and assumed everything would be fine. Prior to that it took about 3 weeks to find out if we were approved or not and we had to go up there.(not to mention they already asked for a post dated deposit check and we called several times) Its close to everything and it is nice. On December 29 my husbands car was stolen. So 2 weeks and already a terrible experience. Some how a piece of the parking lot collasped and they basically destoyed the parking lot which is about 20 feet from the front entrance. At one point a dirt path detoured cars to come through a set of apts to get to anywhere on the premises. Also the water was out for a day with no warnings prior this and no expected time frame of when it may be fixed. Meanwhile around my complex people were parking anywhere. I mean on top of curbs, double parking, in handicap spots and all. The office staff seem ok I dont have to much dealing with them. I like that its close to everything but so far its ok and its pretty quiet. Some times you can't control things but they "try" to keep you updated. To each is own tough. I feel in llove with this place and hoping I enjoy it here
