Review for Sugar Mill (Formerly Tree Creek) Apartments

I'll try again!!! Tree Creek was a great place to live until it was sold a few weeks ago and became Sugar Mill. The whole transition was unprofessional and a mess. Not only were residents not told until after the switch was made, but the new ownership came in with no staff or management of its own. The staff that has been hired have no knowledge of the property and seem to lack the ability to handle simple situations. Management really doesn't seem to have an interest in keeping their residents happy either and can be downright rude. Neighbors have been pressured to make decisions on their renewals before they have to give notice, maintenance requests are not being honored, rent is being increased on renewals at a rate unheard of before, and people are not renewing simply because they were treated so poorly by the new staff. Residents who have been here for years are now being inconvenienced by new policies that accomplish nothing. The staff and management refuse to deal with even simple problems and have lied to act as if they were and no recourse beyond the on-site staff is given to the residents as they will not reveal any contact information to register a complaint. It really is sad to see such a nice, small community that has been a great place to live ruined by poor management.
