Apartment Reviews for Plantation Ridge - Marietta

Unless you are like me, and don't have good credit and require a cosigner, don't move here! Just because I have credit issues doesn't mean that I want to live just anywhere either. I do pay my rent like everyone else,and I'm a hardworking tax paying citizen and student trying to better myself, so I deserve the same treatment as the next person. Everything that's been said about this place is accurate,I can't tell a lie! I was warned about the reviews and I read the reviews before I moved in, but was limited to where I could move,so I took a chance on it because I knew someone who lived here, and they had no complaints, unless they lied! Anyways,they had another management company when I moved in May of 2010. I thought it would be different after they changed management, but NOT!The new management is just as bad, if not worse! When I first moved in, teenagers would loiter around the complex like in the ghetto in large groups lookin like gangs. Sad to say it, but it really makes minorities look bad,and I'm a minority! Management is unprofessional,non caring, inconsiderate, rush you off the phone if you call, so you end up having to go to the office. Work orders are not responded to in a timely manner, and you best believe if you even think about being late with the rent, with the new company it is $150 late fee for paying the next day after the deadline. You best believe I came up with the rent, so I haven't been late and now it isn't even an option no matter what unforseen circumstance may come up in life. The workout facility has old, out dated equipment thats not working half the time, and there's only one dumpster for hudreds of apartment units and when it gets too full it looks like a big garbage dump and is overflowing onto the ground, which also makes it look like the ghetto! I see a roach now and then, and i'm not pleased about that either because just like the other tenant, I'm not a nasty person and like nice things. They have a new exterminator company, but if you don't call every monday to let them know you want them to spray even for prevention you're out of luck and have to wait til the next week. I'm very displeased with living here, but until I can do better, I'm forced to have to deal with it!
