Apartment Reviews for The Magnolia At Whitlock - Marietta

I moved in 2 months ago in to a 2 bedroom. The apartment was to my surprise nicer than the demo apartment that they showed me when I came to visit the community. And the office actually does events for the residents. Last week they gave out a bag of breakfest on the way to work and I leave at 7:30 - way before they open. I also stopped last Friday for free wine and cheese. I'd give them 5 stars but I want to see whatelse they can do next.

My building is quiet. I love that! Everyone is friendly & respectful in my bldg. When I 1st moved in there were some things that needed to be addressed & they took care of them that same day! The only think I've had a problem is roaches. It took a few months to get it rectified but it seems to be much better. Once in awhile I still might see one but I've talked to ppl in the bldg who said there was never a problem here until there was some dirty tenants that moved in & were about to be evicted. The other thing I don't like was I wasn't told I had to pay the water, trash, sewage so the day I signed my lease I got surprised with more charges that were not figured into my budget. And the last thing I don't like is how the rental prices fluctuate daily. Currently my same apt is going for $615 & $620 & with the rent I pay with an additional $60 for the water & sewage I'm writing a check every month for $730. So please be aware of the extra charges that are not calculated in your budget. Also this lovely fitness center, is really not a CENTER its just a few machines & the place is only open when the office is open so if you work a regular 9-5 type job, you will never get the priviledge of using that facility which is one of the main reasons I chose this place so I could work out & use the pool, which mind you was broke when I moved in & took over a month to fix & when it did open, it was not cleaned properly, I wouldn't dare go in it. I hope this summer brings NO ROACHES & a CLEAN POOL!
