Apartment Review for Hickory Falls

I have income and a good credit rating. I paid the $40 application fee to lease a one-bedroom apartment at the "market rate." I also gave the management a $100 deposit. All of this was completed in early September 2007.

AT NO TIME during my discussions and visits to Hickory Falls did anyone tell me that there are only SIX one-bedroom apartments in the entire complex for which I would be eligible or that some of those six had been occupied for several years or more.

In other words, Hickory Falls took my $40 application fee knowing that the chance of an apartment being available by the first of November were slim to none.

BEFORE you pay the application fee, ask how many apartments are available that meet your needs that are market based or reserved for Section 8 housing, which is government subsidized. You may discover that they are simply taking your money.
