Positive Apartment Reviews and Ratings
A wonderful place to live ( over a year ago )

Linden Towers is a wonderful apartment building if you are looking to rent an apartment. The rent is within range of the area and very near the train if you commute.
As for the "parking nazis" review below, take this with a grain of salt. I know who this person is and he talks alot and talks loud to anybody that will listen. Yes, he talks too much in the elevators.
I use the train to commute and like the fact that this building is not in the middle of the big box stores. It is actually nestled into a quaint downtown. There are parks within walking distance and the local park district has a very good sized work out room. Management is friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests and repairs are prompt.
Again, a wonderful apartment building.

I had a friend that read the previous reviews and brought them to my attention.
I am here to say NOT TRUE !!
I have lived here for several years and disagree with the negative reviews. I actually overlook the parking lot and there are ALWAYS available spaces. Sorry if your tires are bald and cannot get up the ramp during the snowy season. Also, the covered parking is reserved, the un-covered parking is not, again sorry if you have to walk a bit further because you cannot park up front everytime.
As for carrying your groceries to your unit...complaining about carrying your groceries to your unit ???
This building and its grounds are neat and well kept. The staff is friendly and efficient. The manager's have their cell phone numbers on a big sign in the leasing office window that you may call them for emergencies on off hours. Maintenance guy is great and I have never had to ask twice for anything. This is a secure building (buzzer and camera at the front door) and a nice step above the lower end apartment complexes in the area.
I recommend Linden Towers Apartments !!

Well management must have written that first review because this place stinks. Literally. I can't stand cigarette smoke and it pours into my apartment from my neighbor next door. It makes me so sick. I told the management about it and they told me if I don't like it then I should move. They didn't even say they would try and fix the problem. Parking is a nightmare. They have a parking garage but it only fits maybe 50% of the people who would live here. They apartments they say are 800 square feet but I can show you pictures...its probably about 500 square feet total. I pay $810 a month to live here in a really tiny 1 bedroom apartment. It is definitly not worth it. The office staff are just rude. People always smoke and throw their trash all over the building. It is a nightmare bringing in groceries..you have to go through the back door go around and hold the elevator then carry everything down the hallways to your apartment. I can't wait to move out. <P>

This is a cheap, no amenties (no pool, no workout room) building, but every unit has washer and dryer, dishwasher, and excellent water pressure. Located on the train and has friendly management.
