Review for Alpha Apartments

robinson circle apartments appear nice at first glance, but beware. way over priced for the southern illinois and carbondale area. 12" + of year-round standing water in the basement, which has contributed to mold in apartments -- the management denies it exists. i contracted pnuemonia from the mold in the first month of living there. gun shots can be heard from the apartment complex behind the alpha properties. siding often is falling off due to the shotty construction used -- these were built quick and not meant to last long. upon moving out of complex was charged $1200 for clean-up -- when i left the apartment was nicer than 95% of carbondale properties. parking is horrible, width is not built to code and its hard to back out of or turn in to. most of the times you cannot find a spot at your property, and the tow truck is there often with often verbal abusive conflicts. i would not recommend your health or financial hardships at the expense of this greedy business.
