Ditto On Beals Ripping You Off

Rented: From 2003 To 2004

Two years ago I rented from Beal Properties. When I moved in the space was filthy and poorly maintained. I found out by accident that if you jiggled my front door handle that you could get my door to open without a key. When I requested maintaince on the door, my call was never answered; nor were the ones re: the absence of lightbulbs in the hallways. When I left I had 'mysterious charges' and didn't receive a single cent of my deposit, which in 8 years of living in Chicago, has never happened. Beals Properties are nothing but slumlords; DO NOT TRUST THEM LET ALONE RENT FROM THEM.
