Rented: From 2003 To 2005

My friend and I live in 2 separate Beal Properties. The management is horrible and does not keep the buildings up. They are very mean and rude. Try to ask a tenant of the buiding you are considering. Chances are they will tell you how awful it is to work with Beal. Read up on the Chicago Ordinance and practice your rights. They will violate them if you are not aware. They often come and go in your apt without the 2-day notice or leaving a letter behind to let you know they were there. If you decide to rent from Beal, keep your fingers crossed that no repairs are needed. We gave them a chance but are outta there asap.
