Review for Lakeview Associates Inc Apartments

Pros: location, easy access to many of the best bus routes, a little cheaper than other place in the area, safe area to walk around at night, friendly people, replaced all washers and dryers recently, 5 minute walk to the harbor

Cons: $705 a month for a 320 square ft. studio, at least one elevator is always broken (main one was out for nearly 2 months straight!), when I moved in my dishwasher didn't work and it took them 2 months to get it fixed because they had to order a new part (and dishwasher was the reason I chose this place over another one), dishwasher barely even works, water turns off randomly, water sometimes turns brown in the middle of shower, water temperature changes in the middle of shower, gas heat so you can't control it, heat is so loud when it turns on that it wakes you up every time because it sounds like a gnome is beating the metal with a wrench, "fitness center" is 3 pieces of equipment and 2 of them are broken, laundry is $2.25 to wash and $2.25 to dry

I have been very frustrated throughout my year lease and am glad to finally leave. It is an old building, so I understand that maintenance is necessary, but still! Arrange to update things so tenants have notice rather than wait until they break down. I would never live here again. There are really no amenities despite what they claim to have.
