Review for Mac Property Management Apartments

MAC took over management of the building we lived in and everything went downhill from there. While the building is fine (for the price), maintenance is horrible. They make things worse rather then better. The lights in the complex do not turn on till very late in the evening, and they haven't fixed it after several complaints.

The leasing office makes a lot of mistakes, twice they have told us we were late only to check their records (after several phone calls) and discover that we were not. I even had to deal with the same late fee twice since the first person we talked to didn't get it taken care of. We have had friends sign a lease and make a deposit, only to find out a few days before moving in that someone else has moved into the apartment.

The apartments are fine, the prices are not terrible, but the management is bad. I would recommend trying to use a different management company (or staying in University housing if you are a student).
