The elevators have NOT passed city inspection in over three years and are breaking down daily. There is a hugh crack on the east exterior wall that has been there for over 5 months. This is a 21 story building and the elevators have been broken daily over the last couple of weeks. Several times NONE of the elevators were working.
The management didn't even put a message apologizing for the inconvenience. What kind of management doesn?t care about the tenants as to not even communicate with us about the problems? Answer: Planned Property.
There is no management. The central office doesn't
respond to complaints and the building manager does seem to have the authority to do anything.
Planned Property is one of the worse landlords I have ever dealt with. A tenants union was started last year to make the building do things like have fire extinguisher up to date, change the common area locks to a security key, fixing and replacing emergency lighting that was broken or missing, place emergency evacuation signs up and the list goes on and on. Now the union is trying to get the building to fix or replace the elevators as they have been braking down on a daily basis over the last couple of week.
DO NOT RENT FROM ANY PLANNED PROPERTY BUILDING UNLESS YOU CAN SEE THE ELEVATOR CERTIFICATES ARE UP TO DATE AND THEY ATTACH ALL BUILDING VIOLATIONS TO YOUR LEASE BEFORE YOU SIGN IT.
PLANNED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT LIES! BE VERY WARY OF RENTING FROM THIS COMPANY.
The location is great, the building is clean and the engineering staff is very good.
Because there was a drug dealer living here andd because there were so many storage locker break-in over a 2 week period and more - I give the building a 1 for security.
BTW: I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT THE POSITIVE MESSAGE THAT WERE WRITTEN ABOUT THIS BUILDING, WERE POSTED BY PLANNED PROPERTY.
