Apartment Review for Planned Property Management

I lived in a Planned Property studio at Clark & Belden in Lincoln Park. The apartment building was constantly being sprayed for bugs, maintenance was never interested in cleaning the common areas (meaning there was trash on the back porches, and the hallways and floors were filthy), and a service request was rarely answered. What sucked was that they had rented an apartment in my building to an unemployed alcoholic drug abuser. This loser would crank his music at all hours of the night for 15 seconds, then turn it off for about 4 minutes, then do the same thing. If someone asked him to turn it down, he would retaliate by ripping your nameplate off your mailbox (So you couldn't get your mail). He also did weird stuff like putting sulfur down the bathtub drains, causing the entire building to stink like rotten eggs. He then started threatening residents in the building. It took Planned Property about 4 months to get rid of this guy, and this was even after he was MONTHS behind in his rent. The UNHEATED laundry room was a joke; 4 washers, 3 dryers, for about 70 units...of course they were always crowded, and also took forever (and a boatload of quarters) for your clothes to dry. Bottom line: Stay Away from Planned Property! <P>
