Review for Mason Properties Apartments

My main complaint about this management company is regarding the security deposit. I am not the first person to complain that they rip you off when it comes to getting your deposit back. Their customer service sucks.

(Taken from another person's comments) Don't plan on getting much of the security deposit back-- no matter how much you clean, they will still charge you to clean themselves (claiming it was not done).

My advice is to take plenty of photos during your walk through. Make them move the refrigerator out and take a photo of the floor under and the wall behind it. In fact, take photos of EVERYTHING; window ledges, closet shelves, etc. etc. Run your finger on the top of the interior doors to see if they have dusted them BEFORE they charge you for them being dusty when you leave. FYI - They expect you to wash the window screens when you move out too. If they aren't done when you move in they shouldn't have to be done when you leave. Some how you need to get EVERYTHING on record for yourself or they will claim you left the place a disaster and charge you for it all.

This was the experience we had even though we had our unit cleaned professionally prior to the inspection. They take advantage of their renters.
