Review for Mason Properties Apartments

I lived in these townhouses through Mason Properties located at 1001 W. Lincoln Hwy. The Mason security does not respond quickly. It was very noisey. We had to call the DeKalb police in order to get anything resolved. We were once charged for having a party when we were just playing music with the three of us living in the apartment. They said they came to the door but they didn't. They wouldn't revoke any charges. We then went to the legal office. They also never responded when I called about our neighbor buring a couch outside on the back grassy area. The flames were in front of our window and the neighbors finally put it out. Our back sliding door was broken during this time as well. We reported it because it was a fire hazard and they wouldn't fix until the weather got warmer. It broke in February and they didn't fix it until April when I called and threatened to turn them in for a fire hazard. They finally came and fixed it and it only took 15 min. They charge you for cleaning the apartment even if you cleaned. They will replace the blinds so don't bother cleaning them. The girls that work in the office are rude. I would not recommend dealing with them.
