Review for Pittsley Realty Apartments

Do not rent from them. They DO NOT fix any repairs that you request in any sort of timely fashion. My washing machine was leaking water for months and they would not come out and fix it. My dishwasher was broken from the time I moved in in August until October. And it STILL didn't clean my dishes because it was CHEAP. You can hear everyone's conversations from inside your apartment, whether they are down the hall or outside the actual building. I moved from one pittsley apartment to another (HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and they said they would work out move in and move out dates so i would not be homeless and they didn't. One person told me one date. Then MR PITTSLEY'S WIFE chimes in and says another date. Mind you, SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANY SAY IN THEIR BUSINESS. THEN, I was told two other dates for my move in and move out dates but those were ALSO incorrect. I ended up having to move my things into storage and commute an hour and a half twice a week for summer school because I had no place to live! THANKS A LOT. They did pay for my storage but what about the gas I used at $3.15 a gallon? How about the 180 miles I drove ROUND TRIP in ONE DAY!? Oh yea, then I had to rent a U Haul two seperate days to move all my things once again. They don't care about their residents safety. The walkways and the parking lots don't get salted or plowed in the winter. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. You will only have problems and hear what you want to hear from them. They say what they believe you want to hear because they want you to shut up. Whatever they tell you, be prepared for the OPPOSITE to occur.
