Review for Pittsley Realty Apartments

This company is crap. It took them 4 months to fix a noisy ceiling fan. I have lived in the same apt. for nearly 2 years and they still have not fixed everything on the move-in inspection list (even though, some are minor things). The primary contact in the office is a tactless wench of a person, not to mention rude and crass. Units, especially townhouses, are poorly constructed -- i.e. the low-end of the housing requirements. Don't expect everything to work right when you move in. They charge for a parking sticker and claim that they will tow if it's not posted in the vehicle, but they NEVER have towed, and the lot is always full of cars that do not belong there. Complains are handled very poorly and not in a timely manner UNLESS it deals with a safety issue -- they don't want any liability suits. Another BS policy is the signing of new leases in NOVEMBER, after just moving in in AUG. Your apartment becomes subject to showings and is not guaranteed to be available if you don't sign. And another BS policy is the CARPET CLEANING CHARGE IN THE LEASE for $150, regardless if you do this yourself -- you're likely not to get the apartment if you fight to have the clause removed. This company will screw you over with any chance given to them. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!
