Review for Pittsley Realty Apartments

My personal experience with Pittsley has been awful. When we moved in we were left without a working oven for over a month. We were given the run around several times before I wrote a letter saying that this needed to get taken care of. Finally after putting it in writing we had a working oven.

We had to move out early due to some roommate issues in December. We were going to sublet but that never happen, so we did what we were supposed to and paid our rent till our payments were up. In January when I went by our apt I noticed they had taken our front windows to give to another tenant who was currently living in their apt without ever telling us. Then in June we drove by and decided to stop and ring the doorbell to see if anyone had moved in. Sure enough they had moved someone in a month earlier without ever telling us. They never did a walk through or sent us an itemized list for damages. It took us going in an confronting them for them to even tell us someone had moved in. They also never got a forwarding address till we went in, which they needed inorder to send us our 2 and a half months rent plus security deposit that needed to be reimbursed since someone moved in. I find it extremely disappointing that a professional realty company would not contact their tenants and want to maintain a good relationship with them as well to keep their reputation clean. We have just been overall very disappointed in their management and their service.

If I was to recommend someone I would say Star Properties. They may seem strict but they do thier job very well. I never had any problems with them and Scott always took care of us.
