Review for Suburban Apartments

In a college town, these apartments are a lot better than most. My roommate and I came from Horizon Management (now Autumn Creek) which was an absolute hell hole. Suburban is a breath of fresh air to us. The light oatmeal colored carpet (we had 30 year old brown) has some slight stains (find me carpet in a college town that doesn't) but otherwise is a welcomed changed. The living room and adjoining dining room is very spacious. Rooms are good sized, and the 'master bedroom' has a walk-in closet, which is my favorite part of the aparment. Bathroom is nice and white.

Maintenance is awesome. I came home when it was downpouring, and water was dripping in from the sliding door. I put in a report, and two guys came less than an hour later and fixed it in the pouring rain.

I would recommend this apartment to any college student as their first apartment while at NIU. I know what it's like to really have a terrible first apartment experience.
