I've lived in a Washington Blvd Apt for about a year and It's great! I am a little closer to the hood than I'd like...(Wish they would have told us that before we moved in.. I should have taken the hint when our apartment tour guide kept saying "I'm not allowed to say anything about the surrounding area.")
Also, my neighbors are horribly loud. The police were called on them last night for "domestic Violence" I'm assuming... But hey, that's the life of an apartment.
The apartment itself is beautiful, warm in the winter, comfortable in the summer (with 2 AC window units that I bought) If I ever had an issue with anything I'd contact maintenance and they'd be there to fix it ASAP!
Seriously tho, they should be more picky on who they let move in here..... I'm a white girl from the burbs. I was scared SCARED when I first moved in...but now that I have my city wits about me...these are really awesome apartments and I would renew my lease and recommend this company to anyone... Just get an apartment closer to downtown Oak Park and AVOID ANYTHING NEAR THE AUSTIN NEIGHBORHOOD! Unless you really like police and thumping bass.

If you're looking for a short commute time to Chicago and a lot of different jobs, this is the place to live. I lived here and found a job in Chicago after a couple weeks. Of course, this may not be the same for you. One person added comments here and I remember him. He was totally rude. And the kid walking around in the morning was dumbest comment I've every read. Overall very nice apartment and a 24 hour maintenance answering service.

I have had a good experiance with my apartment. I have an assigned parking spot which if you live in Oak Park you know what I am talking about! The staff is helpful when needed. Overall a good place to live
