Apartment Review for Highpoint

I had nothing but problems from the day I moved in until the day I moved out! Cleaning issues, bad customer service - you're lucky if they return your call - conflicting stories from the staff, maintenance walking into my apartment without my permission, trying to charge interest on late bills when NONE of them were late and garbage, lose screens and outside lights not collected or fixed for years. Yes, I said years! Also, the buildings are cheaply built - you can hear your neighbors cough AND if your TV is off, you can hear them turn off their light switches - I kid you not! And to add to the grief, they were regularly letting-in Section 8s and this caused the crime rate to skyrocket. When I left, gang-bangers roamed the complex, you could find drug paraphernalia in the grass and wooded areas and Highpoint management was not concerned in the least; remember, the Night Crawler was arrested soon after he moved from Highpoint. The police were very slow is addressing the problem and I wouldn't be surprised if they give up all together on clearing-out the criminals; the police told me and my neighbors Highpoint was not cooperating with them. So, in a nutshell, DO NOT RENT at Highpoint - you will be very, very disappointed.
