Apartment Review for Village In The Park Apartments

1. When I moved in, they wouldn't show me my actual apartment "with a view". They only showed me a show room in their office complex. Turns out the view was on the other side of the building. 2. The places is overpriced. If you get a short-term lease, be prepared to take out a loan. 3. Somehow they made it through the fire inspection when the place was built without having any sprinklers in the building (sounds a little shady). Now the fire department says they have to install sprinklers in every apartment. And there is loud pounding going on every morning while they do this. It's been going on for more than a month and they aren't done with one floor yet. So if unless you have to go to work early in the morning, don't count on any sleep after 8 a.m. <P>
