Review for Shenandoah Properties Apartments

The upside: Although I am a student I did not want to live near campus in a student hovel! Here I have a roomy duplex, with large windows, a garage, a patio, and a SUPER QUIET cul-de-sac. I renewed my lease early and got a rent discount plus a free installed ceiling fan. Well-made for a rental, responsive capable maintenance (including driveway and sidewalk snow removal) and cheerful office staff. A bit overpriced for the area, but also unique. Pet-friendly - lots of cats and dogs around.

The downside: Could use more maintenance people, but after talking to them its because they are being picky about who they hire and have trouble finding those to meet their standards. Thus non-emergency items may take a couple of days to get fixed (but fixed right the first time). The pool is tiny, but hey, if you want to swim laps, go to the Rec or the Y. Biggest complaint: no streetlights, so its darn dark at night.
