Mediocre at Best...probably not worth the rent

I've lived in a lot of apartments and this place is tough to review. There's pros, but also a lot of cons, and in the end is probably not worth the rent because they make you pay for water and sewer (~$40/mo) in addition to electric

The complex is within walking distance to Greentree Mall and the units are new and look pretty nice.. .. BUT, you're also close to the low income housing a block away and the quality of construction is not good.

My neighbor's unit was broken into. The rear doors are not secure at all.

The walls and floors are paper thin. I wouldn't consider a 1st floor unit because it felt like the people were going to fall through my ceiling while they were walking around. As mentioned in one of the other posts, there are a lot of neighbors who are loud outside till late who keep you awake.

The plumbing in these places was not done well. Sinks leaked, faucets wouldn't work, pipes would make loud banging noises, and the drains clogged every other week. I had to buy draino in bulk because maintenance would charge to clear drains.

The guy who mows the grass does it with a weedwacker which throws stones at the cars in the parking lot. I was sitting in my car when the jerk chipped my hood. Noticed a lot of people complaining about their cars getting dinged by him.

The kitchens are large with tons of cabinet space, this was really nice. All appliances are bottom of the line. Our microwave broke but was fixed quickly.

The units are heated/cooled off of efficient heat pump systems. Unfortunately, they put in bottom of the line water heaters that suck electricity like no other.

SPIDERS, get used to them. I would kill at least 5 per day.

IMHO, if you dont have to live in Indiana, live in the Highlands in Louisville. Much nicer area for the same or less rent.
