Positive Apartment Reviews and Ratings
Not too shabby ( over a year ago )

I've been here for a few months now and live in one of the townhomes. I'm not a big fan of the apartments, they look kind of unpleasant, but I live in a 2bdrm townhome and I LOVE IT! Its spacious, clean, you can't hear the neighbors (unless its EXTREMELY quiet, and then you can just hear a slight TV mumble). They don't exactly look that pretty, but they keep the grass trimmed and the landscaping up to date. Very spacious porch, same width as your home! The office staff are very pleasant, and very casual, which I like. I feel more comfortable around them. Our home was in ok condition when we did our initial inspection, though there were stains on the carpet and the garbage disposal wasn't working. They fixed that the next day before we even moved in. There are no hazards here, seems pretty safe. I love it! I ALWAYS have a spot right in front of my home, never have any issues there. I hear a lot of complaints about the apartments, but try the townhomes, they're WONDERFUL! The people here are really nice, my neighbors are nice.
To readers: If you don't like to hear neighbors and don't like dogs, DONT GET AN APARTMENT. Its obvious that you're going to hear your neighbors if they're in the room next to you. Yes, dogs bark here too. Its a pet friendly complex and you should just accept that.
Downsides:
If you don't make sure your doors are sealed, you may get a worm or two in your back door when it rains. THey're harmless though. Make sure your doors front and back have new seals on them so you don't have that problem. Other than that, its great!

Settlers run is one of the most horrible places i have ever lived they care nothing about you! their office is full of nothing but people who want to get you to move and treat you like garbage! they also have a toe truck company who will also tow your vehicles away for no apparent reason. the management staff are nothing but cut throat money hungry people who will take you to court if you are more than 5 days late on your rent and you are also stuck paying all court costs. I moved here from California looking for a better life and the people here have made me nothing but misserable. they post notices on your door for things that you don't even owe, and make you pay or else, they wont accept your rent payment. the people here are also very noisy and you can hear them in the middle of the night having sex in the apartment next to you. they had tried to tow my car three times and stuck stickers to my windows of my vehicle that you can only get off with razor blades. I had called the police several times because they kept on doing this and the police officer told me i could have them arrested for towing my car as a G.t.A. All that i deal with here is stress and strife regaurdless of what they post to this comment. My only advice is to find somewhere else to live. I wish i had never moved here and Sharon one of the office managers is really mean and won't help you with any of the problems you have here. Settlers Run Apartments should be shut down and bought out by another company. i wish you the best of luck if you move here. But if you don't have to "Don't".

So...wow...the other reviews are pretty bad. I use to live there and am thinking of moving back.My apartment was huge neighbors were awesome. It just felt so homey. I was at that halloween party and yes the girls were dressed up...it was halloween..I think maybe someone may have been a little jealous! But oh well, whatever. anyway the stafff is helpful...and who knows that much about the maintiance man..do you have nothing else to except gossip..and hearing that he is getting fired.Way too much time on your hand! Well good luck to the apartment community that the other writter moves into...you got a good resident on your hands! But really I did like it there and will be back after my house sells. I did hear the staff has changed a bit..I hope they are just as good as the last bunch!

I just found this website and could not belive that someone would be so rude. Must be someone who is very unghappy with themselves. I am glad I found it cause I love my apartment and the people that work here. I have lived here for four years and never had a problem. Everyone is always very friendly they even talked to my son when we need to go into the office! I guess everyone has there own opion but I really like it here! Good luck in finding your new home! <P>

I LOVE my place. It was perfect when I moved in with a male relative. Our townhouse had two master bedrooms. We didn't have to share bathrooms. Washer and dryer was upstairs, nice to just be able to walk outside my room to fold clothes instead of lugging them up and down the stairs. Half bathe downstairs, very nice so no one had to nosey themselves through our rooms. BIG kitchen, great living space and dining room, just enough. Parking was always right out front. Never had a problem with it.
CON- Location! only 10 miles from 465, BUT with traffic can take up to 40 minutes to get there and don't even ask about when it snowed.
Lovely place, pool, stocked pond, workout facilities, just too far out.
