When we first arrived, we thought Meridian Lakes was a nice complex. That soon changed. From spring to fall, you can't walk in the grass without stepping in goose excrement. Some of the geese actually run and hiss at you. But that's a small concern. A greater source of stress for us was the increasing number of lowlifes populating the place. My family stopped using the pool after we witnessed two pre-teen boys openly urinating in the water and laughing about it. We reported it to management, but they did nothing. We had a crazy woman living upstairs who sounded like a gorilla with cinderblock shoes taking aerobic classes, and she kept her TV loud enough to rattle the walls, but our complaints to management had no effect there, either. When we left, we were paying at least $175 more than comparable 2-bedroom apartments go for elsewhere.
