Review for Newport Townhomes Apartments

I moved here from Michigan; I looked online for places to rent from and found Newport. They seemed to be very affordable. When I moved here I was very happy with my place, but the longer I stayed the worse it got. I have had to call maintenance a few times to come out to fix a problem at the apartment. I have also had a maintenance guy walk into my apartment while I was there; no knocking or anything. It recently got worse. I will not be renewing my lease! Kids in the neighborhood are not monitored and they have been harassing my kids as of lately. They even threw rocks at my door. I had my niece and nephews here from out of town and they decided that they were going to harass them as well. I never see the parents, I don't even know where these kids live. They ride up to my car and just stare at me and then make comments to my kids, WHILE I'M THERE!! The patio fences are falling apart; it's terrible. This community could really be a great place to live; however, the appearance can really make it look bad. Disposing of trash seems to be a daunting task for some people. Maybe they can't reach the lid, they just throw it on the ground. I went from very satisfied to very disappointed. If there is anywhere else to move, you probably want to move there. This place is going down fast.
