use to live at Newport Townhomes. I made a complaint about them on Aug 1 2005. Now, my ex roommate and I are being sued because we left when our lease was not up. I am sorry but I was not going to live somewhere when I didn't feel safe. I shouldn't have to live somewhere being threatend and everything. The lawyers for Newport Townhomes weren't there. They are only hearing Newport's side of the story not ours. So this was taken to small claims court. I guess the lawyers were scared because they didn't expect us to show up and they supposedly didn't have all their information for court. That was a bunch of BS! They did. They lied to the judge. Just wait. I am going to get them. So, now this is being taken to trial. I have all kinds of documentation to win my case. I shouldn't have to pay for my safety. It may have changed now, I don't know that for sure, but when I lived there, it was not safe at all! People should not have to live in a place where they are not comfortable and safe.
