The Maintenance Crew were nice and competent. We had a lot of vandalism on our street (tires slashed, 3 vehicles broken into, and one car in particular that belonged to my neighbor had the windows broken 3 separate times. My main problem and reason for leaving was the inconvenience of the laundry. There is one laundry room for the entire complex and having a baby, I had to wait for my husband to be home to watch the baby so I could pack up the car and drive 1/4 mile to the room and pay $40/month in quarters. We moved to a place close by that had a Washer and Dryer in the unit. What made me angriest is: After moving out we were told that we left the apartment in perfect condition and there would be no charges. We received a letter saying we would receive our full deposit within 20 days (about 30 days after we moved out). However, we did not receive a check from Gene B Glick until 2 months after our move out day and that was after we called and asked about it. How come they can charge $50 if you are late one with your rent, but we can't charge them a late fee if they are late with the security deposit refund?
