I found a unit advertised on Craigslist at $1200 for a 1 bedroom/1 bath fully furnished and rented for 5 months. The place is managed and maintained by a friendly staff person who lives in the building. This allows for extremely quick turnaround time for maintenance requests (less than 2 days, usually within a few hours). The friendly staff person even delivers your UPS/Fedex packages to your door. Uncovered parking is ample and there is usually street parking available for my second car. Only downside is the parking lot is split with a church, and their members sometimes take up spaces. The laundry facilities are good ($1.50 for 30mins wash cycle or 60 mins dry cycle), as I ve never had a quarter eaten or the clothes not come out dry. In addition to the 4-passenger elevator, there is a freight elevator and a luggage dolly, which makes move-ins pretty easy (aided by the fact that access to the freight elevator is very close to the laundry room which exits directly to the parking lot, no need to go through front entrance). The building is old, but the walls are thick brick/concrete, meaning you hear nothing from neighbors, or anything really. It s quiet and pretty clean. Things do break down, but they ve always been fixed within a matter of days not weeks. Security is tight, with cameras along every entrance, helped moreso by the friendly staff person who has a zero-tolerance policy toward people trying to get in without a RFID key fob (even forgetful tenants!). The location is less than 15 minutes walking distance from the center of downtown. There is a bar called "English Ivy s" very close by if you ever have the late-night munchies.

This is the original review. I meant to say $1200 for the 1 bedroom, 1 bath.
