Apartment Reviews for Lion's Creek Apartments
stay away

On the surface the apartments are not bad, until you live there. The apartments themselves are ok, but the staff are rude. The office staff, especially Jana, are nice up front until you have to deal with them on any level. They are rude and treat you like dirt. Don't plan to sleep past 7:00 during the warmer months because the landscapers start weedeating and mowing this early directly outside your windows. Don't leave anything outside or the landscapers will chop it up or break it, even if its on your patio. They do not like kids. I was told that my eight year old could not ride her bike to a friends apartment close by because it was too dangerous. They actually documented it and told me I could be evicted because of it. No speed bumps except two directly in front of the playground and cars do fly through the complex. No storage aea for bikes. They must be kept inside your apartment, not even on the patio because they are not visually appealing. I agree with the ant infestation. There are thousands of them. They spray outside, but tell you the rest is your responsibility. Many shrubs and trees are dying and they remove them after a while and just leave the bare spot. The complex makes us pay the water and sewage bills. Not to the water and sewage company but to a company they have hired to collect the money for them. When the complex was owned by another management company these were covered by the rent. I agree this complex will nickle and dime you. I almost for got to mention the lack of insulation around the windows and patio doors. You can feel the breeze coming in. The patio doors actually get ice and frost on the inside and frequently freeze closed. If you rent here, I hope you have better luck and Jana no longer works in the office. <P>
