Review for Castle Point Apartments

The apartments are huge--1,000 square feet for less than $700. However, mainly students live here, which means lots of noise (especially on football weekends), dirty carpets, kitchens, and walls (even though they clean them), and extreme difficulty finding parking outside *some* buildings due to landscaping and general setup of the complex. The management is pretty nice, but they have strange ideas as to what constitutes a "maintenance emergency". They wouldn't come to fix hot water that was broken in the winter or unclog a garbage disposal that kept backing up. I don't know what kind of deal they have with the power company, but our bills were always astronomical (compared with living in Indian Lakes, where I routinely spent less than $20 a month to use the same utilties). The apartments are also very hit and miss. My roommate and I had to shell out money for curtains and got appliances from the 70s in an apartment that cost $60 more per month than our neighbors, who had brand new applicances and whose apartment came with a window covering.
