Castle Point Doesn't Like Kids!!!!

First, I would have to agree with the fact that management and the leasing agents are extremely rude! When we moved in the whole front of our sink (the cupboard doors under the sink--attached to the dishwasher) was not even attached. That has still NOT been addressed!! Any day now we will lose the front panel of our kitchen doors and I know they would blame us! Castle Point is not a place for kids. There is no playground, nothing for kids to do...they ride their bikes outside and something goes wrong--oops, there's a letter in your mailbox saying your child damaged property. This happened on several occasions, and to get a good laugh, we were out of town on one of the occasions. They finally decided to evict quite a few families with children because they blamed the children for damaged property--my child being one of them and the manager told me specifically that she saw my son...then I read another woman's letter who was evicted and hers said that: they could not identify what child did the damage...so they assumed every child did. Yet they told me they "saw" my son. It got to the point where I was keeping my son inside all the time because they made this rule that kids couldn't play or ride bikes in the club house parking lot. Well, after keeping my son in for months, I was still wondering why there were children riding bikes and playing in the club house parking lot. They do not stick to their rules, they give special treatment to most people, especially the police officers who moved in there. One officer moved next door to us and left empty cases of beer all over outside his door. The rule is that nothing is to be left inside the hallway--that should include police officers!!! They said they would send a letter to him, but there are still bikes outside in the hallway. On one occasion I had to sit and wait to talk to the manager and I had the opportunity to listen to the leasing agents gossipping about different people who live in the apartments. I observed one phone call where the woman at Castle Point was rolling her eyes and treating the person like dirt...I was very angry. Would I recommend this apartment complex for even my worst enemy???? Well, that depends, do you want to live in a place where they have a security shack that is never manned? Do you want to walk a mile to your apartment because the parking stinks? Do you want to live in a place that doesn't even respect people whom they are renting to? Do you want to have to hole up your children for fear of being evicted because they "assumed" your child did the damage? I had to call the police several times on a family that left their two little girls alone--along with Castle Points knowledge. Castle Point saw these little girls unsupervised and throwing rocks on several occasions...because they saw my son with them one day we were evicted and they were not. How many times do you leave tiny children alone and unsupervised before you (Castle Point) realizes...gee there's a problem here! These apartments are definitely not what I would recommend for anyone. There are better places out there and people who will treat you like you are human beings--not scum. Everytime I drive by castle point now I get a nauseas sick feeling in my stomach. Management and Leasing are so mean--to them you are a statistic--not a person.
