Review for Boardwalk Apartments

Boardwalk is the place to come if your in the low income, or slightly non legal status, use or sell drugs. The people and place have what could be described as character! This has never really bothered me, as I fit the first two of the four conditions. If however you want a place that has feeling of wanting you to rent from them and have a nice or newer feel to it, then I would suggest paying the extra $50-100 a month elsewhere.

In 3 years I have lived here the pool has been useable for about 2 months, even then it was closed mid summer ‘officially’ because some raw meat was found in it. I guess the filtration system of the pool could not handle this, or management was just looking for the excuse not to spend the money providing the pool it advertises. Generally however the maintenance staff and service is pretty good when you request something to be fixed or done. They are busy so it can take a few days, but once there they are quick friendly and efficient. Good parking, and discounted cable can be provided in the rent, and Freenet services the area.

Evictions are common and seem disjointed in reasons. A single mother with children can be evicted for missing a month, yet I am told being a good tenant for 3 years are unable to have my lease end early even to go to a sick/dying grandmother overseas. No negotiation is possible I am told, not even 2 months notice out of the 6 I am required to end my contract. Currently looking to borrow some children and miss a months rent to fix this.
