Review for Country Meadows Apartments

To start off Country Meadows is on their 4th manager, yes their 4th and they have only been open since July 2004. The current manager is NEVER in the office, cause she is always with her assistant! Once there was a problem in my apartment and I called the maintenance guy, in the evening hours, reported I found mold! His reply was, " I don't consider that an emergency and you'll have to take it up with "C" in the morning". I went to the office the next morning 4 different times, and none of those times was the manager or the assistant there. So when I did finally get ahold of management all she could say was well I seen you when you were leaving in your car. I said SO, I shouldn't have to go walking around the complex looking for you or your assistant, that one of them should always be in the office during office hours. I refuse to waste my time to look for her! Her assistant said I could have left a message on the machine and they would have called me back. Well that is BS, cause anytime I've left a message only ONCE did they ever return my call and that was after I had complained to someone about it. The manager and her assistant are a couple, cause I have seen them out at functions together all cozy but once they notice you they straighten up. There was this one apartment that had people constantly coming and going all times of the night. This is the same apartment that had a guy that was recently arrested for rape of a 14 year old and not in jail at the time. Complaints to management went unheard. Eventually the guy raped another underage child and was put in jail. Then you have druggies that have a camera mounted outside of their apartment door, so they can see people coming and going. People throwing trash, cigarette buds, etc off of their balconies. Times when the dumpsters would be overflowing and nothing would get done about it. Neighbors sleeping with neighbors. Kids from the mobile home park next door would come over and destroy property, throw bottles containing urine in them at residents, use foul language towards residents and nothing gets done about them. The fired one of the best maintenance guys for something I know for a fact that he would never ever do! Who's to say that management didn't do what they accused him of but put the blame on him. Many times you go to the pool and the water is GREEN! The walls are so thin it's not funny! With the kind of walls these apartments have you can hear EVERYTHING that goes on, and I mean EVERYTHING!!!!! Once there was a person that lived in the complex with someone, and he had just recently been arrested for meth. Reported it to management, but since he was not on the lease nothing could be done is what I was told. Once I had my window open and heard him and knew immediately he was doing drugs. About 2 weeks later, I found him on the RCPD 10 most wanted list, go figure! You can always hear people driving through with their BOOM BOOM BOOM crap going on in their cars and it makes your apartment floor vibrate. Neighbors just LOVE to SLAM and I mean SLAM their doors! You have constant people coming and going all times of the night from some apartments in the complex. Then there are those apartments when someone will pull up and honk their horn and someone comes out to the car, leaning into the cars open window and then they go in the apartment and come back out to the car. Then the car leaves. Hmmmmm what do you think that means? This place is full of druggies and people taking advantage of the welfare system. There are also ALOT of kids that run around the complex WITHOUT any parental surpervision, til all times of the night. These kids are out in the parking lot playing and riding their bikes. Some day a car is going to back out and run a child over. You have cars that pull up and use the ditches over there as a place to take a leak and throw their trash. This complex is the WORST gossip place ever. I swear I'm writing a book about the place! Seems like if you kiss their rears then you get some place. NO THANKS! I do NOT recommend the complex to anyone ever, unless you are a druggie. Oh and I lived there from 2004 til 2007. NEVER AGAIN!
